This particular model, the Belle Roof Elongated Hexagon Gazebo, comes in 13 different sizes, ranging from 8 x 12 ft up to 14 x 20ft, although most of the photos on this page, including this one at the top, are of the 12 x 20 ft version.
This gazebo has an elegant, Roman look, thanks to its fluted columns.
(Interestingly, fluted columns originated with the ancient Greeks, as their earliest columns were made out of wooden tree trunks that obtained vertical gouges during the process of shaving the bark off the trunks. When they began to build stone temples, they copied the gouges from the wood because it made the columns look skinnier and taller.)
These fluted columns have a six inch diameter and are constructed of seamless vinyl over a sturdy 4 x 4 treated pine center, to give it additional strength.
The elongated hexagon gazebos that are 20′ long, or longer, use three columns on the front corners, as shown at the top, while smaller gazebos have just one post at each corner, as standard.
This elongated hexagonal gazebo also features composite decking, which offers all the beauty of wooden floors – but with none of the maintenance! Composite decking requires no sealing, staining, or waterproofing of any kind. It also doesn’t check or warp.
Composite decking is constructed from a combination of high-quality woods and polymer resins. The flooring looks, acts, and feels like wood due to the surface texturing process during the fabrication process.
In addition to its appearance and durability, it is very desirable in outdoor structures due to its slip-resistant surface, which adds a definite measure of security, especially if your gazebo is situated close to a pool or hot tub.
These heavyweight 30-year architectural asphalt shingles feature a triple-layer fiberglass mat construction with a random-cut middle and top saw tooth design. The three layers of mat are coated with asphalt, surfaced with mineral granules, and then laminated together with a special asphalt adhesive. A self-sealing strip of asphalt helps provide added wind resistance.
So, let’s take a look at a few more photos, so you can see this beautiful gazebo in a few different settings:
(Note that all of these gazebos are 12 x 20 ft, except for the final one, which is 12 x 16 ft. Although this size usually comes with only one column at each corner, this one is shown with an additional eight columns.)
So, there you have it – the Belle Roof Elongated Hexagon Gazebo – a classical-looking structure that would grace any patio or poolside, and that is suitable for chilling out after a swim, a BBQ lunch, an evening dinner party, or maybe just relaxing after a long day at work.
