We’re back with pavilions again today, as we take a look at the Forestview square pavilion.

Although a few of the smaller sizes might be suitable for your home, maybe as an entrance area, or for use in your back yard, or perhaps even as a carport, most of these pavilions are definitely aimed at the commercial and/or public market.

That means, they would be great for use:

  • in public parks (e.g. somewhere for families to eat their picnics, as shown above)
  • by companies (e.g. as somewhere for employees who smoke to go, given that more and more companies are banning smoking in the office these days)
  • in schools (e.g. for outdoor lessons and activities)
  • playgrounds (e.g. somewhere for parents to go while their children play)
  • to provide shade for vending machines or even chairs to sit down and rest for a few minutes

The one at the top of this page is a 20 x 20 ft laminated wood pavilion (tables are not included), and here are a few more variations of this Forestview pavilion, which are displayed starting with some of the smaller structures, and ending with the larger ones:

The Forestview pavilion comes in ten sizes – 10 x 10 ft up to 40 x 40ft (but note that the wood pavilion‘s smallest size is 12 x 12 ft).

Roof DeckingTwo of these three models come with wooden roofs, where the roof decking boards are made of 2″ x 8″ tongue and groove #1 Grade Southern Yellow Pine.

Each board is cut to fit exactly with the other boards, kiln dried, and furnished in specified lengths. The under side of the decking boards can be left natural, or the factory or customer can stain it.

24 Gauge Metal RoofingThe third range is made entirely of steel, and has 24 gauge “mega rib” metal roofing, which is available in six different colours.

Mega rib is heavier and structurally stronger than other metal roofing products and does not require a roof decking.

So, whatever your needs, especially if you’re working on a largish scale with commercial requirements in mind, there’s a Forestview square pavilion that is just right for you.

  1. Hi Rae and Mark,

What great information about The Forestview Pavilion. Indeed, I can see how this is an amazing structure for some protection from the elements and best suited for a public parks or school sort of a setting. I like the idea of it as a Car Park. Thank you for mentioning that! I would never have thought of it myself on my own.

It would seem that there is a pavilion to suit just about any need. I agree that there seems to be more commercial application than residential for this particular item.
