It was Monday morning, and Amber had taken the day off work to go shopping.
But before she set off for a bit of retail therapy, she needed her daily caffeine fix, to get her going, so she headed straight for her usual coffee shop.
It was crowded, but she eventually got served, and then, while looking around for somewhere to sit, she was surprised to see her best friend, Jordan, sitting in the corner, all by herself.
She immediately dashed over to Jordan’s table, almost spilling her coffee over another customer in her haste to get there, and sat down.
Before Jordan even had time to say “hello”, Amber asked, all out of breath, “Jordan, what on earth are you doing here? I though you and Miguel were going away on your second honeymoon this week on that long, scenic train ride?”
This was Jordan’s cue to reveal all.
“Well,” she began, ” it was like this…
“Yes, we were meant to be leaving on Saturday for a week’s well-earned, relaxing vacation, but then Miguel had an emergency at work, which meant we couldn’t go.
“We were, of course, disappointed at first, but then we thought, hey, what the heck, we’ve already packed the kids and our dog off to grandma’s for a few days, so we’ve got the entire weekend to ourselves anyway.
“It was, as you know, a beautiful day, and as luck would have it, we had just recently bought ourselves a brand new swing for the garden – something called a Sunnyvale Lounge Swing. In fact, Miguel had only just put it up a few days previously.
“So, we decided to go and have some fun in the garden.
“We gathered up our picnic basket, filled our ice chest with champagne and wine, grabbed our Bose Wave music system and some of our favourite mood music, as well as a few other essentials such as towels and lotions, and headed off down the garden to that secluded spot at the end, where Miguel had erected the swing.
“As I said, it was a really hot day, so we both stripped down to our swimwear – I’d put on that slinky new bikini Miguel bought me for my birthday last month, and he was wearing his swimming trunks – and stretched out on our lounge swing.
“Miguel turned the music on, and as we lay there, listening to our CD mix of favourite tracks looping around and around, we popped the cork on the champagne and toasted our approaching tenth wedding anniversary, which is tomorrow, as you know.
“I unpacked the fresh strawberries I’d brought, and some whipped cream, and we started feeding each other, which was fun.
“I had my eyes closed, savouring the sensation of the fresh fruit and cream, when all of a sudden, I felt something really cold land on my chest. “Not to worry,” Miguel said, “some of the cream fell off the strawberry, but I’m not going to let it go to waste, so let me lick it off you.”
“By now, the combination of the heat of the sun and the champagne was having an effect on us, and the beauty of that lounge swing we bought is that it’s big enough for two people to lie side by side, gently swinging to and fro.
“Well, before we knew it, we were reminiscing about our first, original honeymoon, nearly ten years ago, and then one thing led to another…”
All of a sudden, Jordan felt something wet between her thighs, and she opened her eyes with a jolt, not realising that she’d almost been lost in her reverie, forgetting that Amber was sitting there, lapping up her every word, and when she looked down, she found that the frothy cream had dripped off the top of her coffee mug and landed on her legs.
Awoken abruptly from her trance, the two friends smiled knowingly at each other – nothing else need be said – as they finished their coffees before hitting the mall.
If that doesn’t make you and your partner want to go and relax in the Sunnyvale Lounge Swing immediately, we don’t know what would! (And if you’ve already got the swing but not got a partner, you’ll probably want to go and find a date immediately too.)
Now, this swing may seem like a bit of a flimsy affair, but it’s made of heavy-duty tubular steel and weighs 200 pounds, which means it can safely hold up to 600 pounds.
There’s a generous canopy to provide shade, it’s contoured perfectly to the curves of your body, and it keeps your knees elevated so that you can relax in comfort.
So, go check out the unique Sunnyvale Lounge Swing now.and surprise your partner this weekend!
BTW, in case you were wondering, Rae’s favourite tune is October Night, while Mark’s is Some Soul.
